BOARD AND TRAIN

For puppies ages 8 weeks to 6 months.

Great for busy people with limited time to properly socialize and train a new puppy.

Here’s how it works- Your puppy stays with us and we do the training for you.  There are no kennel facilities or excessive crating. Your puppy stays in the trainer’s home and is treated as a family member. It is often the things experienced during puppyhood that determine how behaviorally healthy and well mannered an adult dog becomes. We focus on laying a positive foundation so that your puppy can reach his full potential and grow into a wonderful family companion.  An initial consult is required before starting the program in order to determine your pup’s specific needs and to set up a unique training plan. We will then take care of teaching your puppy basic manners & obedience, body handling, and provide opportunities for socialization with well-mannered dogs, people, and novel things.

Multiple opportunities are provided daily for training and supervised off leash interaction with other dogs.

Puppies are socialized to new people, places, and things at their own pace, including field trips to different places.  Proper socialization is the single most important thing you can do to help prevent future behavior problems from developing.

Transfer training sessions are done to make sure you understand and can use the new skills your pup has learned.

REQUIREMENTS:

Ages 8 weeks and up. Dogs must be up to date with age appropriate vaccinations and fecal testing with no significant behavioral issues.
